CORE OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Not exactly hypnotic powers, but rather a phase of unparalleled impeccability of one's own acts. And the definitive entry into the third attention, which does not require disembodiment --- this is when the world of consciousness of daily life no longer exists, and yet it is still there, as something to which people cling through obsession. SEEING that although human beings appear to the seer as eggs of luminous energy, the egg shape is an outer cocoon, a shell of luminosity that encloses a very intriguing, frightening and hypnotic core, formed of concentric circles of energy. The egg-shaped shells appear bright at first, when the Seeing is not yet enhanced, but they are in fact opaque --- the luminosity emanates from the bright core of the cocoon, the shell loses its radiance when seen correctly. This same shell is what must be broken at the right time, from the inside out. If this does not happen, the creatures suffocate and die. TO LOSE THE HUMAN FORM (in Toltec terminology) is the only way to break that shell, the only way to release that frightening bright core, THE CORE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. To break the shell means to come to the totality of oneself, to enter the third attention. At such moments a lifelong training gains strength and the boundary line dissolves into NOTHINGNESS.
