Lord...

LORD... Each of the Lord's plays (said clown 1) presents a mystery, proposes explanations of a demonic or magical nature, and finally replaces them with others that are "merely" of this world. The Lord's mastery does not exhaust the virtue of these brief fictions; I believe I perceive in them a cipher of human history, a symbol or mirror of the Lord himself and his activity. The repetition of his schemes of dissonance over the years and through the plays seems to confirm that it is an essential form, not a rhetorical device: Lord Maitreya has reversed his negative opinion of the enterprises carried out by "declassed scum" who, however, according to him, possessed some "jewels". What before (then) could be explained as a pustule produced by excess power and wealth, now seemed, under the effect of his "Revenge", to be a virtue. The Lord's spell extracted a lot of pus from his adversaries. ------ If they really have no virtue, no greatness (said the Lord) let them at least glimpse it while they are being punished (.) ----, -, the Lord wanted all of us to represent to ourselves the superior state of consciousness in which He Himself lived, through some acts of abstinence that, thanks to repetition and difficulties, would break the inertia of our vices and complexes, making the next conquest less impossible. -- ''Petard'' (the Lord spoke), from the French: device used to knock down walls (.) ----, at no time did the Lord call us worms again, that night. We were all amazed to hear Him say all that. It would be wonderful (we thought) if one day everyone would really become capable of rising up in large numbers and pushing the Lord and his clowns into the sea, taking back the land that the Lord had taken from them by assault, destroying their simple-minded schemes of reasoning and relationships and establishing in this world forever absolute cognitive chaos, where only He reigns.
