Out of elegance and duty of office, we do not squander our secret military power,

Whatever the frivolous ambiguities of the American economy of diplomatic sense, it does not seem to us to be an intelligent, much less threatening, undertaking; we know fireworks very well; we (the Chinese) invented them. And we have a more elegant way of dealing with the conformism of the morality of the moment when it comes to US foreign policy. It is better not to talk about the military aspect. Out of elegance and duty of office, we do not squander our secret military power, nor do we cultivate the habit of commenting on the policies of other countries, as they do with ours, or of responding to the childish provocations of unscrupulous demagogues, aspiring sheriffs of capitalism. We would be generous if we defined this as "heroism of boredom" via Twitter. We are committed to a market-oriented exchange rate reform. Our exchange rate is not the reason for the trade imbalances between us and the Americans. And our controlled political succession makes us a much more attractive partner for Russia than the United States. President Putin always keeps his word with his allies, Syria and Iran have nothing to complain about; and if the President-elect of the United States currently boasts of "excellent relations" with Russia, it is not without conditioning this "summer love" on the Russians distancing themselves from Beijing and Tehran. Which simply will not happen
